Sexual Assault has been a relevant topic as of late after an R.Kelly documentary series debuted on Lifetime. Since this documentary came out, R.Kelly’s number of music streams has skyrocketed, getting a lot more people listening to his music than before this documentary appeared. This was something that brought a lot of controversies and made people question why his views have gone up. Kelly has a lot of sexual assault cases, with the most known one being the case in which he urinated on a girl. Stars like  Jada Pinkett Smith got upset about the views going up and she felt it was wrong that this was happening.

Another story about sexual assault came out about the rapper Drake. Drake had a concert and brought up a 17-year old girl on stage, he knew the girl was 17 but he still kissed her on stage. This was 7 years ago, but still something that is relevant today. For Drake, it was not seen as that big of a story since he is a huge star. This demonstrates that certain and more popular stars can get away with more things and seem to be able to do whatever they want.
