In a time where human contact and interaction is practically illegal, society must resort to other forms of communication, where people can still maintain relationships and stay in touch with large groups of people. As a result, many people are resorting to Zoom Video Communications, which is a conferencing services company headquartered in San Jose, California.

Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise video communications that combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat, and mobile collaboration for people living in all different kinds of places.

Not only is this service free to use, but Zoom is offered across Windows, Mac, Linux, IOS, Android, Blackberry, Zoom Rooms, and H. 323/SIP room systems, and can be accessed through a multitude of different online devices.

Zoom users can choose to record sessions, collaborate on projects, and share and annotate on one another’s screens, all on an easy to use platform that is simple to join and explore. You do not need an account to attend or join a Zoom meeting; you can simply click on the link that has been provided for you and download the proper software. Zoom meetings can hold up to 100 participants including the host, and will still offer all of its amazing features throughout the duration of the entire thing.

Personally, I find Zoom to be an incredible way of communicating with large groups of people all in one place, where you can see and hear from everyone. Whether it be with my club soccer team, my college coaches, or my mother’s entire side of the family, Zoom has been a vital way to check in and stay in touch.

Overall, during these long dreadful days in quarantine, I would greatly suggest utilizing this unbelievable service to your advantage, and checking in with the people and relationships that you care about most so you can ZOOM through this pandemic.
