Aaron Rodgers Joins Milwaukee Bucks Ownership Team
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn’t your typical NFL player anymore; now, he is an NBA owner. The Milwaukee Bucks announced Rodgers bought a stake in the franchise a playoff game against the Boston Celtics. Though The Bucks fell to the Celtics and failed to get their first playoff series win since 2000, The Bucks have a nucleus of talent that may allow them to contend for championships in the years to come. Since The Bucks’ current owners took over prior to the 2014-15 season, they have made three postseason appearances.
Rodgers and Bucks’, forward Giannis Antetokounmpo are two of the biggest Wisconsin superstars in their respective sports. The two-time NFL MVP has spent his entire career with the Packers, leading the franchise to a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV after the 2010 season. Antetokounmpo is trying to replicate the success of Rodgers, hoping to guide his team deep into the playoffs.
