Marvel has been around since 1939 starting with comics that 69 years later the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be based on, the first Marvel movie coming out in 2008 being The Incredible Hulk. Since then we have had over 30 Marvel movies and several shows that spin off the movies. Most recently Venom: The Last Dance was released in theaters on October 25th, 2024, the movie made over $400 million at the box office with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 41%. However, Venom is not the last movie of 2024 with one more on the way. Once 2024 is over we will have five movies between 2025 and 2027.
Kraven the Hunter
Kraven the Hunter is due to come out at the end of the year on December 13, 2024. The movie will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Although this is Taylor-Johnson’s first time starring in a Marvel Movie this is not his first Marvel movie, he played Pietro Maximoff in the 2015 Marvel Movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. Kraven the Hunter is about Kraven whose complex relationship with his ruthless father starts him on a path of vengeance which motivates him to not only become the greatest hunter in the world but also one of its most feared.
Captain America: Brave New World
Captain America: Brave New World is due to come out on February 14, 2025. The movie will star Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson a.k.a. The Falcon who appeared in several Marvel movies and even had his show with Sebastian Stan who played Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. Captain America: Brave New World is about Sam who finds himself in the middle of an international incident after he has a meeting with President Thaddeus Ross. He now must soon figure out the reason behind an evil global plot before the true villain can complete his plans.
Thunderbolts*
Thunderbolts* is due to come out on May 2, 2025. The movie will star Florence Pugh who plays Yelena Belova who first appeared in Black Widow, David Harbour who plays Alexei Shostakov who also appeared in Black Widow, Sebastian Stan who plays Bucky Barnes known as The Winter Soldier who shows up in several Marvel films, and his show with Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell who plays John Walker who first appeared in the Marvel TV series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Olga Kurylenko who plays Taskmaster who first appeared in Black Widow, and Hannah John-Kamen who plays Ava Starr aka Ghost who first appeared in Ant-Man and The Wasp. We don’t know much about the movie but what we do know is that it is about a group of supervillains recruited by the government to go on missions.
