Madeleine Beetar, Editorials Editor

Madeleine Beetar (she/her) is a student journalist at the West Orange High School. Since elementary school, she has been writing short stories, creative passages, poems, informational texts, and screenwriting.

Growing up with her father’s love for storytelling, Madeleine also developed an undeniable passion for bringing life and energy to the stories of the world around her, both fictional and literal. Her favorite authors include Paulo Coelho and Khaled Hosseini, both of whom inspired her style of writing.

She is an active student in the WOHS Humanities program, a member of the ESL Club and Screenwriters Society, and a softball athlete for West Orange High School. Madeleine wishes to expand her horizons and pursue studies in anthropology and literature around the world. But for now, her hobbies lay in biking, writing, and paper mache.

Her favorite colors are autumn colors, her favorite movie is Clue, her favorite song is “My Sweet Lord” by George Harrison, and her favorite singer is Fiona Apple.

Madeleine can be reached at [email protected]
