Boys Basketball Home Opener Preview
Today at 7 pm, the West Orange Boys Basketball team is opening their season with a home game against Nutley.
“I think we will play an exciting brand of basketball because of the talent and depth that we possess. My mindset is to take it one game at a time, rather than have specific expectations,” said Coach Duncan, who has coached the freshman boys team for 3 years and now taking on his first year as the Varsity assistant coach. For tonight’s game, his advice for the team is “Just go out there and play hard, compete and control what you can. I think if we can do that tonight’s game should be a good one.”
If you are coming to the game tonight, earn free admission and a slice of pizza by donating a winter coat. Otherwise, tickets are sold for $2 per student, $2 per senior, and $4 per adult. Tickets “can be purchased at woboe.org/tickets. Wear white for a whiteout game.
