Nyah McKinney, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Nyah McKinney is a senior and your Co-Editor-in-Chief for the WOHS student newspaper, The Pioneer. This is her third year in the newspaper and her second year as the Co-Editor-in-Chief. Currently, she is one of the varsity cheerleading captains and one of the co-founders of the Elixar Dance Crew, and she has been recruited to Howard University for lacrosse. She is the secretary for the Unity Club, a member of the Asian-Culture Club, and is part of the Mountaineer Mentors program at WOHS.
She has also been on the class council since her freshman year and is now the Class of 2025 President. Her passion for journalism and communications came from the Write On Sports program offered by West Orange.
