Marley Dias, Editor in Chief
Marley Dias (She/Her) is an American student-activist and author known for her work on the #1000BlackGirlsBooks campaign. In 2015, Dias founded an international movement to collect and donate books with Black girl protagonists. Over the past five years, she’s collected 13,000 books and authored her guide for youth activism called Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You! with Scholastic. Marley has received the Smithsonian’s Ingenuity Award in the youth category and is the youngest member of all time for the Forbes 30 under 30 lists. Alongside her professional endeavors, Marley is the editor-in-chief of the Yearbook, co-editor in chief of The Pioneer, and president of the English Honors Society Escriptus.
