Parker “Park” Hawley, Copy Editor & Marketing Coordinator
Parker Hawley (they/them), also known as Park, is currently a junior involved with the Newspaper Club and GSA. They start by sharing their hobbies, stating that they are “either writing, going for a run, or just playing video games.” They also share that they enjoy playing sports or story video games like College Football 25 and Firewatch. Their interest in writing has led them to take a newspaper class in sophomore year and join the WOHS Pioneer.
Park’s dad working for radio and their mom loving books have impacted them to love reading and writing. Because of this, Park plans on going to school for communications and wants a career involving writing. Already completing a manuscript, Park is also currently working on a thriller novel that is halfway done and has an interesting plot of a cult taking over a town.
