Sorry

A student driver apologizes to West Orange and pays nearly $4,000 for accidents that may occur in the future. In her apology she stated, “I am sorry I swerved. I did not realize I would cause a lady to wet her pants and drop her groceries or cause others to run towards a ditch. Had I known almost hitting a kid would cause that much trauma I would have tried to aim more for the jogger on my left.” As her apology continued she started to get emotional and discuss accidents that had already occurred within minutes of receiving her license, “I am so sorry I caused a traffic jam after I cut someone off. The coronaries I caused already were both shocking and horrific as were the tantrums I saw and middle fingers I received. I have decided it is best for everyone if you all stay off of the road I would also like to pay for town therapy sessions before and after I am on the roads.” West Orange is touched by her announcement. The town therapy had already started and more than half of the town showed up to discuss their experiences with her driving. One lady came back in order to discuss her move to Canada due to the PTSD triggered whenever she drives on Northfield. West Orange encourages all drivers on the road to please attend regular therapy sessions with the newly funded town therapist. The town is also implementing a posted schedule of when she is expected to drive to prevent future traumas and cut down on the amount of therapy sessions needed. West Orange has also started taking up a collection for a lifetime supply of bus tickets. You can donate at www.BusBuddy.org, West Orange hopes to see new changes on roads starting as soon as April 2017.
