If you want to know how cars work Auto Tech is the perfect course for you. 

This course offered at West Orange High School teaches you how to repair cars and how to use a certain set of skills (measuring electricity, working with hand tools, and how to interpret data from vehicles to find problems) that are used in the auto shop business.

Students learn the basics of automotive repair, how cars work (including the engine and transmission), and how to work with all types of vehicles. You can learn how to change breaks, do oil changes, tires and the fundamentals of auto repair.

Most projects are repairing vehicles and some are done in the shop.

This course is offered in 2 levels and grades 10 through 12.
